Biography

Sessé Mawussé Ferdinanda D´ALMEIDA was sworn in as Governor of District 403A2 at the 101st International Lions Clubs International Convention held in Las Vegas, (USA) from June 23rd to July 3rd, 2018.

She was elected at the 37th Convention-Congress of Multiple District 403 held in N´djamena (CHAD) May 1-5, 2018. Lions Sessé Mawussé Ferdinanda D´ ALMEIDA is a Doctor of Pharmacy.

Pharmacist, holder of the BON Pasteur Pharmacy in Lomé (TOGO), she is also the Founding President of the UBIPHARM Togo Group and a member of the Executive Committee of the Togo Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Former Lioness (1990), she was a founding member of the Lomé Soleil Lions Club in 1992.

She was later transferred to create the Lomé Diamant Lions Club in 2004.

She has held many positions within the association including those of:

  • Region President
  • Regional Commission President
  • 2nd and 1st vice district governors

As a testimony of her service to the association, she has received numerous awards from the District and the Board.

She attended several training institutes (IRFRL, ALLI, FDI)

Mother of two daughters founding members of Club Lomé Aurore, Lions Sessé D´ALMEIDA is a Melvin Jones Companion in the Progressive category.
